Boundary Review
We are now in the first stages of the new consultation process to determine whether the Campbell Park grid square should be absorbed within the CMK Town Council. All the logic points to this being the sensible option for residents of Campbell Park, but we need your voice to speak up in favour. Contact MK Council to express your views.
At a meeting of the parish boundaries working group the proposal to merge the CMK Town Council into Campbell Park parish council was rejected in favour of a proposal that the Campbell Park area of that parish fall within the parish area of the CMK Town Council. This decision has yet to be ratified at Full Council, but clearly this council welcomes the change of view, informed as it was by the large number of residents who petitioned for the council to remain independent and by residents of Campbell Heights who spoke in favour of the retention of CMK Town Council and the integration of Campbell Park residents into the parish.

Resignations
We regret to report the resignation of Peter Gladwin and Roger Lament as councillors. Thgey have both added greatly to the Council over the last few years. We are currently considering co-options.

Expenses
At this time, with all the interest in MPs expenses it is worth pointing out that the CMK Town Councillors do not claim expenses and nor do they claim any remuneration for serving the residents of CMK.
